About Me

From Hjo to the World

My name is Lukas Bjurström — I'm a musician, songwriter, and artist from Hjo, Sweden.
Music has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. My journey began with classical piano lessons, and at the age of 13 I picked up the guitar. By 14 or 15, I was already performing and singing in public, inspired by artists like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles.

Over the years, I've played in bars, hotels, and restaurants, started different bands, and built my experience as a live performer. When I was 19, I traveled to Australia, where I spent much of my time busking and playing live music on the streets and in local venues — finding creative ways to make my way through the journey. That experience helped shape both my musical style and my understanding of music's ability to bring people together.

Back in Sweden, I continued developing my craft — forming new bands and refining my songwriting. In 2021, I released my debut album God Knows — a collection of my best work so far — which has now reached over 230,000 streams on Spotify and been featured in Nova Music Blog and Tinzel Music Magazine. Songs like The Guidance Of Our Kings have reached over 20,000 unique streams, while the debut single God Knows has surpassed 150,000.

Today, I focus on performing — both solo and with my band — as well as sharing my knowledge through private music lessons. I also continue to write songs, poetry, and explore creative projects that allow me to keep expanding my musical and artistic world.
